Welcome to Casey's Professional Computer
Services. Please come in and make yourself at home. Hopefully
the hyperlinks are pretty self-explanatory. Some of my clients have
small businesses and others are individuals. Some have wanted a
business website, others a personal site for themselves, family
and friends. The photo perservation has been mostly for individual
families but occasionally for small businesses. I deal with both
types of clients on a pretty personal level. Many of my clients
have become good friends which I look upon as an added benefit.

Company Profile
During my year and a half as a technical
recruiter (95-96) dealing with Intel, Award Technologies, Compaq,
Texas Instruments, etc. I was given the responsibility of learning
how to use the Internet, teaching the other recruiters in our firm
and helping to find particular ways it could benefit us as a
recruiting firm. This additional duty became my main focus
so for 3+ years I was responsible for the firm's website and for
maintaining a website for The Arizona Association of Personnel Services.
Besides spending 7-10 hours per day on the Internet, I have attended
seminars and taken classes in actual colleges and virtual
ones. These classes started with basic Internet use, then
progressed to Advanced Internet Search techniques, specific software
applications, web design, site maintenance and getting a new site
ranked on search engines. In February- April 2001, I attended
The University of Advancing Computer Technology and received a Web
Development Certification. This included classes in Photoshop, Flash,
HTML, 3D Studio Max, Illustrator and DreamWeaver.
My first websites were for friends with small
businesses. For these clients, I have designed their websites,
registered their domain names, picked out a host for their sites
and then did updates as desired.
I have been spending part of my work time
as a volunteer with two Arizona non-profits, Global eLearning Industry
Association or GELIA and Greater Arizona eLearning or GAZEL. I have
been responsible for maintaining the gelia.org website and co-ordinating
the population of the GELIA Knowledge System. It contained information
on almost 1000 enterprises connected with eLearning and is hopefully
on its way to over 5000 enterprises. As a firm believer in
eLearning and its potential as a business enterprise as well as
a developing tool for education, I am pleased to be involved.
Relatively recently I have added the photo and document preservation
service. This grew out of a project in Wisdom, Montana to preserve
and disseminate old historical photos. It started with photos of
Wisdom and the Big Hole and then later photographs and documents
from 10+ old pioneer families were added. A new service was born.
So if you have old family photos, slides or documents sitting around
and want to preserve them and let your children or siblings see
them, contact me. The scans are burned on CDs or DVDs, both of which
can be played on a DVD player and shown on your TV. I also repair
old photos using Photoshop.
